Flowtech has been awarded an honourable mention for innovation by AEBA

It is with great pride that Flowtech was recognised at the latest AEBA – Associação Empresarial do Baixo Ave awards gala, where it received an honourable mention in the Innovation Award, standing out among dozens of high-quality applications evaluated by a jury from Ernst & Young.

This award is significant not only because of the recognition itself, but also because of the prestige of being selected in a category featuring nationally renowned companies. Founded in 2000 and recognised as a public utility organisation in 2012, AEBA's mission is to support and represent businesses in Northern Portugal, particularly in the municipalities of Trofa, Santo Tirso, Vila Nova de Famalicão, Maia and Vila do Conde.

For us at Flowtech, this is more than just news. It is confirmation that the path we have chosen is aligned with the most significant industry trends:

  • Investment in advanced manufacturing technologies and automation
  • The ability to compete globally with value-added solutions
  • The growing importance of talent, data and digital transformation

We would like to thank AEBA for this recognition, as well as all our employees, partners and customers who make our commitment to innovation possible every day. We remain dedicated to delivering increasingly effective solutions for the industrial sector, driven by ambition, quality and a forward-looking vision.

How we can support your business

One of the easiest ways to begin your company's digital transformation journey and increase its competitiveness is by adopting MES (Manufacturing Execution System) software, such as Flow Manufacturing.

Flow Manufacturing is an industrial and quality management system that enables companies to control every stage of the manufacturing process (Design, Planning and Execution). As an MES (Manufacturing Execution System), it provides traceability and helps reduce waste of raw materials and resources, thereby increasing productivity. It also enables companies to accurately measure the resources consumed throughout the entire production process, helping to improve manufacturing sustainability.

With an MES (Manufacturing Execution System), data collection and integration become automated and efficient, connecting information from the shop floor to the warehouse. It enables real-time monitoring and control of production costs across a wide range of products.

Flow Manufacturing can be adapted to a variety of industrial environments and is currently used across several industries, including chemicals (Mistolin), food processing (Pascoal, Lugrade, Queijos Santiago, Tété, A Poveira, etc.), textiles (ETEXBA), metalworking (Lacovale), jewellery manufacturing (Flamingo), among others.
