This Privacy Policy sets out the rules governing the processing of personal data through the website flowtech.pt, owned by Foodintech, Lda., and explains how we collect, use, store and protect users' personal data.
Foodintech, Lda. is committed to protecting users' privacy and ensuring that their personal data is processed in accordance with applicable legislation, in particular Regulation (EU) 2016/679 — the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) — and other applicable national legislation.

Data subjects have the right to object, at any time and without providing a reason, to the processing of their personal data for direct marketing purposes.
6. Website forms
Completing a contact form does not, in itself, mean that users have authorised the receipt of newsletters or marketing communications.
Where we intend to use personal data for direct marketing on the basis of consent, a specific option will be provided for this purpose.
We recommend that the newsletter subscription form includes, for example, a separate checkbox with wording similar to the following:

7. Recipients of personal data
Personal data may be processed by service providers acting on behalf of Foodintech, Lda., including providers of technology, hosting, maintenance, contact management and communication services.
These may include Brevo and HubSpot, where used for the purposes described above.
Foodintech, Lda. will endeavour to ensure that the service providers it uses offer appropriate safeguards for the protection and security of personal data.
8. International data transfers
Some technology service providers used by Foodintech, Lda. may process personal data outside the European Economic Area.
Where this occurs, the legally required safeguards will be applied to ensure an adequate level of personal data protection in accordance with the GDPR.

Personal data will only be retained for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, unless a legal obligation requires a longer retention period.
Data used to send newsletters will be retained for as long as the subscription remains active or another valid legal basis for processing exists.
